Six-year-old Everlyne lives in Majenjeni Village with her parents and six siblings. Everlyne is a bright and cheerful girl who loves playing netball and spending time with her friends.
Unfortunately, Everlyne was unable to progress to first grade this year because her family could not afford the school fees. She is currently repeating her Kindergarten year at the Imani Project Nursery School.
Everlyne’s father is unemployed, and her mother’s small income is not enough to meet the family’s basic needs. Several of her siblings are also out of school due to the lack of funds. Without support, Everlyne will not be able to join first grade in January.
